History

This Medal is conferred by the Tysklandsbrigadens Veteran's Association upon military personnel who served in the "Germany Brigade" (Tysklandsbrigadens) during WWII for at least six months.

A star shaped clasp was added to the recipients ribbon after every additional brigade they had served or a clasp that has the number of brigades an individual had served.

The obverse inscription translates to "Germany Brigade 1947-1953".
