The Real Body of the Nobility of Catalonia (Real Cuerpo de la Nobleza de Cataluña) was originally instituted as Military Arm of Catalonia in 1602. Its currently name was assigned in 1714, and is strongly related with the nobility of Catalonia.
It was founded with the purpose of training the nobility of Catalonia in the values of traditional cavalry.
