The Coronation Police Medal was instituted in commemoration of the Coronation of King George V in 1911. The Silver Medal was awarded to all ranks of the 10 police and other ancillary services who provided service during the Coronation parade.
The Medal features the name of the service recognized by the award inscribed on the reverse.
