History


The Natal Coronation Medal 1901 was instituted in commemoration of the Coronation of King Edward VII in 1902. The Medal was presented in 3 sizes. A small (21mm) Medal was presented to schoolchildren, a medium (29mm) Medal is believed to have been presented to local dignitaries, and the large (51mm) Medal was presented to local chiefs.
