History

The Badge of Honour (Non-African Countries) was instituted in 1926 and awarded to Indigenous personnel who rendered valuable service to 1 of 20 United Kingdom colonies or protectorates.

There are multiple versions of the Medal which vary by design and size. The Medal features an obverse effigy of the reigning monarch and a reverse depiction of an emblem as well as the name of the country of which the recipient served. Medals issued during the reign of Queen Elizabeth were of a smaller size.

The reverse versions are not features here, as it is uncertain how many reverse versions exist.
