History

The Chinese Maritime Customs Service Financial Medal was awarded members of the Chinese Maritime Customs Service in recognition of 5 years of service. Personnel who served for less than 5 years but demonstrated exceptional meritorious service are also eligible for the award. The Medal was awarded in Gold, Silver, and Bronze and 3 classes according to the rank of the recipient.

The Medal features an obverse Chinese inscription and the recipient's name engraved on the reverse.
