History
Prior to 1933, many non-official and homemade varieties of flags for the German Youngsters (Deutsches Jungvolk = DJ) were in use, due to a lack of official regulations.
On September 1, 1934, flags for Jungbanne, Fähnlein, and Jungenschaften were officially introduced.
The pennant of a Jungenschaft is black with a white Siegrune on the obverse. The reverse was different for each Jungenschaft, as they were allowed to use a unique and individual design.
