History
The pennants and flags of the HJ were used to represent the organisation at parades and events, or to represent a specific unit or Leader of the HJ.
Small pennants were commonly used for events and as decorations. About these individual versions there is limited information.
Prior to 1933, there were lots of different flag designs, as there were no regulations for standardisation yet. The flags were often homemade and rather crude in appearance.
The general pennant has white, red, and white horizontal stripes and a black swastika on point on a white square.
When used by the smallest sub-unit in the HJ, the Kameradschaft, the reverse could be given a unique and individual design.
