This insignia was worn by Aviation HJ members enrolled in the German Air Sport Association (DLV) program. It was established in 1933 and discontinued on January 21, 1938.
The insignia shows a white propeller and wing with a black swastika on a red and white circle on a blue field. It has a tan backing and was worn on the upper right sleeve.
