Collar tabs were not worn in the HJ. The only exception was the Reich Youth Leader, which, initially, was Baldur von Schirach, and after him Artur Axmann.

It is unknown when exactly von Schirach started to wear collar tabs.

The tabs were mirrored images of each other. They showed an imperial eagle holding a black swastika inside a laurel leaf wreath. The tabs are carmine and have gold-coloured piping and embroidery.
