History
The athletic suit of the Hitler Youth was introduced in a regulation from October 7, 1933. This suit was worn by both male and female members of the HJ while they were participating in exercising and sports events.
The suit consists of a navy blue slit pullover jacket and long trousers of the same colour. The material is unknown. The pullover had three buttons at the front neckline, or sometimes came with a zipper. It had a lay-down collar, a breast pocket on the left side, and long sleeves.
Regulations from November 6, 1936 stated that the HJ diamond should be worn on the left sleeve, one hand length down from the shoulder.
