Two pieces of die-stamped bronze with a gold-coloured wash inserted into one another, obverse inscribed "Reichsnährstand" above the organization's "Blut und Boden" insignia in the centre, surrounded by the inscription "LANDESBAUERNSCHAFT RHEINLAND / HAUPTABTEILUNG II", reverse inscribed "FÜR LEISTUNGEN IN DER PFERDEZUCHT" with a five-sided star below, inside a full wreath composed of various fruits, vegetable and wheat sheaves, 70mm, ring suspension, scattered wear in the gold-coloured wash, the two pieces exhibiting separation along the top edge, bruised, edge nicks, better than fine.
