History

There is very little information about this award.

It is rectangular with a laurel wreath at the edges. It shows an Iron Cross with a superimposed Luftwaffe eagle. Underneath the inscription reads: in recognition / of his merits / Air Fleet 4. In between cross and inscription is a field for the recipient's name.

The German title of this award is "Ehrenplakette der Luftflotte 4".
