Physical Description

The insignia is a 5-pointed red-enamelled star with the national badge in gold in the centre of the obverse.

History

The Delaawari (Bravery) Decoration was instituted in 2004 as an award for extraordinary acts of bravery. The Medal is based off the design of the People's Democratic Republic of Afghanistan Order of Gallantry.

The ribbon is purple with light blue edge stripes.
