History

The Order of Sheikh Issa (Wisam al-Shaikh ‘Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa) was instituted in 1999 in commemoration of Emir Sheikh Issa bin Salman Al-Khalifa. The Order is conferred in 5 Classes.

The Exceptional Class Decoration is worn with a sash and issued with a Collar and Breast Star as the I Class of the Order.

The obverse features an Arabic inscription which translates to "Order of Sheikh Issa bin Salman Al K ...  halifa Bahrain."
