The Medal for the 14 Ramadan Revolution (Nut Thurath 14 Ramadan) was established in 1964 in commemoration of the Revolution of February 8, 1963, which resulted in the overthrow of General Qasim's government by the Ba'ath Party.
The Bronze Medal features an Arabic inscription on the obverse which translates to "The Iraqi Republic 14 Ramadan" as well as on the reverse which translates to "8 February 1963."
The Medal is expected to differ in design and composition by the manufacturer. There may be additional versions not featured here.
