History

The Supreme Worthiness Medal, 1992-1993 (Nut al-Istihqaq al-'Aali) is believed to have been instituted between 1992 and 1993 by the Ba'ath Party following the First Gulf War. The Medal may also be known as the Order of Perfection or the Medal of the Supreme Sacrifice. More research is needed.

The Medal features an Arabic inscription on the obverse which translates to "God is Great", as well as on the suspension which translates to " Supreme Worthiness Medal."
