History

The Order of Merit Palestine was instituted by the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The Decoration features both Arabic and English script. The obverse is inscribed in Arabic, which translates to "The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine Order of Palestine" and the reverse is inscribed in English with "D.F.L.P. ORDER OF MERIT PALESTINE."
