History

The Order of the Palestine Campaign was instituted on December 18, 195, as an award for valour for members of the Syrian Army and civilians who served in the Palestine War in 1948.

The Order may also have been issued posthumously, but more research is needed.

The Order features an Arabic inscription on the obverse which translates to "1948 In Palestine."
