History

The A.C.T. Community Policing Medal is conferred upon individuals who have rendered at least 10 years of meritorious service in the AFP ACT (Australian Capital Territory) Community Policing since December 6, 1988.

The obverse of the medal features the Australian Capital Territory coat of arms and the inscription “A.C.T. COMMUNITY POLICE” around the interior circumference. The reverse of the medal features a horizontal plaque and the inscription “FOR DILIGENT SERVICE.”
