History

This Medal is conferred upon members of the New South Wales Prison Service in recognition of 20 years of service.

A bronze star clasp is awarded to denote 25 years of service. Silver clasps are awarded to denote 30, 3 and 40 years of service.

The oblong shaped medal features the New South Wales Coat of Arms surrounded by the inscription 'N.S.W. CORRECTIVE SERVICES LONG SERVICE.' The reverse of the medal features the inscription 'FOR TWENTY YEARS SERVICE' surrounded by a wreath. The is red with a gold stripe in the centre.
