History
There are two versions of the Royal Papua and New Guinea Constabulary Shoulder Badge. The first version was worn by European officers in Papua and New Guinea from 1945-1964. It features the inscription, "ROYAL PAPUAN AND NEW GUINEA CONSTABULARY" and is made of brass. The second version was established in 1964 and worn by all ranks in the constabulary in Papua New Guinea and is enamelled.
