History

This medal was instituted in commemoration of the completion of the first general census of the population. It was conferred upon civil servants and members of the military who were involved in the creation and implementation of the census.

The obverse inscription translates to: "First General Census of the Population". The reverse inscription translates to: "For Efforts in the First General Census".
