National Order of Merit, Ouissam al Mukafaa al Wataniya, founded by
Mohamed VI, grand cross plate in gilded metal and enamel, attachment by tilting pin and two side hooks, hallmark of the house of Arthus Bertrand.
This Order was established by King Hassan II in 1983. It is conferred upon civil or military officials and notable Moroccan individuals in recognition of long and distinguished service.
After 5 years of holding the Exceptional Class, individuals are eligible to enter the VI Class of the Order of the Throne.
The Exceptional Class is limited to 6,000 recipients.
