The Catamarca Medal (Medalla de Catamarca) was established by the government of Argentina, in recognition of those who suppressed the uprising lead by the Unidad Cívica (Civic Union) at the Catamarca Province in June, 1891.
The Medal features a reverse inscription that translates to “Revolution in Catamarca July 23, 1891.”
