The Order of Judicial Military Merit (Ordem do Mérito Judiciário Militar) was established by presidential decree on June 12, 1957, and it has been modified several times since then. It is ranked seventh in order of precedence in the country.
It is granted by the Superior Military Court to recognize establishments, civil and military personnel and members of the Justice Union military of Brazil, who have rendered exceptional services to the Justice Union military.
The Order's grades are Grand Cross, High Distinction, Distinction, and Good services.
