History

The Order of Belize was instituted on 16 as August as 1991. It is conferred by the Government of Belize to reward nationals and foreign citizens who distinguished themselves greatly from Belize. There is limited information regarding to its grades.

It is the second highest award in Belize, and might be granted posthumously.
