The Silver Medal was presented to members of the armed forces, crown services, and personnel involved in the industry, trade, local services, voluntary services, the arts, entertainment, and sports. Approximately 30000 Medals were issued to United Kingdom recipients.
There are 2 versions of the Medal which differ by reverse design.
