A badge of circular form, formed of eight overlapping octagonal gilt links imposed on an eight-pointed silver star, each arm with five graduated rays; the face with an elaborately decorated central gilt escutcheon bearing the arms of Brunei, a red enamel border above, all encircled by a gilt-edged black enamel ring bearing an inscription in Jawi script, stylised laurel leaves above; the reverse plain with hook for ribbon attachment, maker’s mark of Spink & Son, London.
This Order was instituted by Sultan Muda Haji 'Omar 'Ali Saif ud-din III. There is very little information available regarding this item.
Conferred in recognition of service to the Sultan, or of services worthy of recognition by the state.
Recipients are entitled to the post nominal letters SPMB. The obverse features an inscription in Arabic script.
