Three-piece construction, silver with green, red, blue, white, yellow and black enamels, hallmarked on the ring, large rosette on its original ribbon with hook and eye, intact enamels, better than extremely fine. Accompanied by its 14 mm Rosette with safety pin attachment.
This Order was instituted by President Yuan Shih Kai. It was conferred upon individuals in recognition of exceptional civil or military meritorious service and achievement.
The reverse features Chinese characters.
The Classes IV till IX have the badge of the order suspended from different colored breast ribbons:
Class IV red with white edges and a rosette on the ribbon
Class V red with white edges
Class VI and VII blue with red edges
Class VIII white with red edges
Class IX black with white edges
