Wooden framed and wrapped in maroon covering, lid with hand painted Chinese characters, interior with fitted medal bed, strong hinge and catch, with two old cracks to lid, fair.

History


This Order was conferred upon Japanese Officers and Chinese collaborators in recognition of distinguished service for the Japanese Government following the declaration of war on the United States and Great Britain. It was discontinued in 1945.

This Order is also known as the Order of Common Honour.

The reverse features Chinese characters.
