    History

The Most Eminent Brijendra Order of the Bharatpur State was founded by Maharaja Kishan Singhji in October 1925. The Order is believed to be conferred in 4 Classes to Bharatpur State Force Officers. However, the structure of the Order is highly complicated, and due to contradicting information, the research presented here may be subject to error.

The IV Class may be known as the Medal of the Order.

Recipients of the IV Class Decoration are entitled to the honourary title "RAJ HITESHI", or "MAHAMANYA."

The obverse features the Sanskrit inscription "PRAJA BALAM RAJYA BALAM PARSBASTATY" which translates to "Power of the People is the Power of the King and that is Supreme."

The Decoration also features an engraving of the recipient's name ...  and title they are bestowed with on the reverse.
