Known in Malay as the "Darjah Yang Mulia Pangkuan Negara." This order is presented for meritorious service to the country.
The Commander class is conferred only on 75 recipients, excluding foreign citizens who are bestowed honorary awards. The male recipients of this award receive the title "Tan Sri" and their wives may use the title "Datin."
The insignia of the order consists of a collar, two stars and three types of badges. The motto of the order is "Di-peliharakan Allah" meaning "Under God's Protection."
The Commander Badge is smaller than that of the Grand Knight. It is composed of silver gilt and white enamel. It is an 11 point star with small crescents and stars between the rays. The central medallion is white enamel with an embossed crown and crescent and the motto of the order in arabic.
