History

This order, also known as "Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia" was founded in honour of Sultan Muhammad I in 1916. This order is awarded to those showing loyalty and conscientious service. Men's ribbon is a sash and women's ribbon is a bow. The Knight Grand Commander class is awarded to forty living persons.

The Breast Star is a silver eight-point star with white enamelled crescents and stars between the rays. The central medallion presents a Jawi cypher surrounded by a wreath and an inscription and is surmounted by a crown.
