History

This order, also known as "Darjah Kebesaran Mahkota Kelantan Yang Amat Mulia" was founded in honour of Sultan Muhammad I in 1916. This order is awarded to those showing loyalty and conscientious service. Men's ribbon is a sash and women's ribbon is a bow. The Knight Grand Commander class is awarded to forty living persons.

The collar is composed of 28 links of a Jawi cypher in gold. The front device has the same cypher encircled by a wreath and surmounted by a crown and is there is a deer on the cypher on either side.
