In silver, an embellished flower with eight petals, with diamond laurel in each quadrant in silver gilt, obverse centre with a superposed red and blue enameled elaborate Thai Crown, reverse centre presenting the motto of the Order on an elegant enameled blue and red medallion, suspended by detailed Thai architecture also in silver gilt, measuring 52.81 mm (w) x 80.32 mm (h - inclusive of suspension), presenting toned silver, accompanied by original pink Dame’s ribbon on a loop suspension with pin, extremely fine.
The Order is awarded for extraordinary service to Thailand, and it is conferred upon national and foreign citizens, members of the Royal Family, government employees, and foreign dignitaries.
The Order of the Crown of Thailand is awarded to those who are not qualified for the Order of the White Elephant.
The Order may be awarded to both men (Knight) and women (Dame), with a bow ribbon distinguishing the Dame awards.
There may be a discrepancy in size between the Order grades awarded to men versus those awarded to women.
