Vietnamese Air Cross for Gallantry - Gold Wing, In gilt and enamels, 41.23mm, very fine.

History


This cross was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of courage during aerial combat. In special cases, it was awarded to foreign military personnel when their actions directly benefited Vietnam.

This cross was awarded in 4 degrees, which were represented by ribbon decorations:

1) Gold Wing
2) Silver Wing
3) Bronze Wing
4) No Wing

This medal was locally manufactured.
