A Vietnamese Police Honour Medal; 3rd Class for Fifteen Years' Service - Bronze, 50.8 mm x 78.5 mm inclusive of its police seal suspension incorporating a shield and book on a vertical sword with surrounding wreath, original ribbon, scattered oxidation evident on both sides, better than very fine. Footnote: Awarded to members of the National Police for meritorious achievement and a period of service without blame, and for civil servants, citizens and foreigners for meritorious accomplishment in the fields of public safety and administration.
This medal was conferred upon members of the Vietnamese National Service in recognition of meritorious service. It is also awarded to foreigners, civil servants, and Vietnamese citizens for meritorious accomplishment in public safety and administration.
The I Class is awarded for 25 years of service and is in gold.
The II Class is awarded for 20 years of service and is in silver.
The III Class is awarded for 15 years of service and is in bronze.
There is also a Unit Award which consists of the ribbon in a frame with the appropriate device according to the class.
