A Vietnamese Staff Service Medal; 1st Class for Officers - Bronze gilt with green enamels, 40.5 mm 40.5 mm, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, the edges of the ribbon trimmed in green designating Officer, light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: Awarded to staff service to the Armed Forces evidencing outstanding initiative and devotion to duty.

History


This medal was conferred upon military personnel in recognition of at least 6 months of extraordinary service and devotion as military staff. It ceased to be awarded in 1973.

The I Class Medal was awarded to Officers. The ribbon features green borders.
