A Vietnamese Training Service Medal; 2nd Class for NCOs and Enlisted Men - Bronze gilt, 20.5 mm x 51 mm, original ribbon with dual prong pinback, the ribbon without two thread-like pink stripes in the centre designated it as NCOs/Enlisted Men, scattered gilt wear, light contact, better than very fine. Footnote: Awarded to instructors and cadres at military schools and training centres, along with civilians and foreigners, who contribute significantly to training.
This medal was conferred upon instructors and cadres for exceptional instructional service at a military school, training centre, or to the Armed Forces as a whole.
It could also be awarded to instructors not associated with any branch of the Armed Forces, and to foreigners whose instruction directly contributed to Vietnamese training. Recipients had to demonstrate devotion to duty and professionalism.
This medal was last awarded in 1974.
