History


This Medal is was founded by the Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic, and it is conferred upon active Czech soldiers who have sustained serious injury while performing their duties.

It is also awarded to civilian employees within the Czech Armed Forces who have suffered serious injuries as a result of their employment.
