The Medal for the 150th Anniversary of National Recognition was created for the celebration of the 150th anniversary of the Revolution of 1821. It was struck in three grades, but for unknown reasons, it was never awarded.

The III Class Medal features an obverse inscription translates that to "Freedom or Death," and a reverse inscription that translates to "Honour, National Regeneration."
