History


The Royal Household Medal of was awarded to personnel of the Royal Household for long and faithful service.

There are three different versions of the Bronze Medal that differ in engraving and inscription according to the reigning monarch of the period. The version awarded during the reign of King Constantine I features an obverse inscription that translates to "Constantine, King of the Hellenes," and the version awarded during the reign of King Alexander I features an obverse inscription that translates to "Alexander King of the Hellenes 1917." The Bronze Medal was not awarded during the reign of King George I.
