History

The Cross for the Andalusian Army Reserve was authorized in Spain by King Ferdinand VII to reward the soldiers of the Army of Reverse of Andalucia for the distinguished services provided during the Campaign of 1813, particularly for the capture of Pancorbo, and the battles of Pirineos, and Rochelle.

The Gold Cross was conferred upon Generals and Officers, while the Bronze Cross was awarded to the Privates.

The Cross features an obverse inscription that translates to "The King to The Army of Reverse of Andalusia."
