History

The Medal of Medina del Campo was founded by Ferdinand VII, and it was conferred upon Spanish forces that pushed back, beat, and chased the French troops of General Marchand during his attack on Medina del Campo on November 23, 1809 at the Peninsular War.

The Medal features an obverse inscription that translates to "To courage, Medina del Campo November 23, 1809," and a plain reverse.
