    History


    The obverse design of the medal consists of the portrait of the reining monarch, and in Swedish around his head, his name and title; because of this there is many variations of this medal.

    The reverse design of the medal is very similar to the Royal Pro Patria Medal for Diligent and Faithful Service (See Medals & Decorations SWE118 for more information) although the two medals vary in inscription that is encircled by a laurel wreath.
