(Ehrenzeichen vom Roten Kreuz Silber Medaille). Instituted in 1923. In silver with red, white and green enamels, measuring 30 mm (w) x 52.2 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, intact enamels, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, extremely fine.
When the decoration is awarded to women it is worn on a bow ribbon.
