In silver, measuring 41mm, die struck, unmarked but textbook example by maker “Teodor Krivak, Varaždin” - (former "Sorlini"); medal comes with original ribbon, slightly toned, slightly worn, in extremely fine condition. Scarce.
This medal was conferred in recognition of acts of gallantry during conflict. It was awarded to Croatian Armed Forces military personnel and foreign allied military personnel.
The reverse inscription translates to "Ready to Defend the Fatherland" and "For Bravery"
This medal is named after Ante Pavelic who was the leader of the Independent State of Croatia from 1941-1945.
