Physical Description

A Maltese cross constructed of silver. The arms of the cross are in white enamel with a silver border. The obverse centre bears a circular medallion in blue enamel with the inscription "DEM VERDIENST" (for merit), encompassed by a green enamel laurel border. It is thought that the II Class Cross is smaller than the I Class Cross.
