Constructed of black rayon, the exterior trimmed with white threading, with a central white machine-embroidered inscription of “AUSBILDUNGSWESEN” (“TRAINING DEPARTMENT”) in Fraktur script, unmarked, measuring 20 mm (w) x 192 mm (l), some material fatigue evident, in overall very fine condition.
Cuff titles were similar to armbands, except often stating a more specific and specialised purpose of the wearer. They were significantly smaller than armbands, didn’t necessarily go all the way around the arm, and were worn on the lower part of the left sleeve.
A Training Department cuff title was produced in black, with silver-grey top and bottom borders and the word "Ausbildungswesen" in Gothic letters.
